The Swan as a Metaphor for Love accordion fold was a project created to represent the short story written by Amelia Grey. In Amelia's story she talks about swans in a very unexpected way; sure swans appear beautiful on the surface, but the more one delves into the true nature of a swan, they uncover many gross and disturbing truths. Through the use of typography I wanted to create a facade of beauty that gets lost by the jumbling of keywords from the story. Creating an interesting texture, sliced typography becomes more apparent and overwhelming as one flips through the pages of this booklet.
